Progression Guide: From Tutorial to Eternity - Sol's RNG Wiki
A phase-by-phase Sol's RNG progression roadmap covering gear upgrades, storage targets, key crafting, Dave's Limbo quests, and the achievements that mark each stage.
Overview
This Sol's RNG progression guide maps the entire journey from a fresh tutorial account to the Eternity phase at over six million rolls. Each phase has a target gear line, storage goal, and key milestone signaling readiness to advance, tying into Dave's five quests inside Limbo from the Limbo guide.
Watch: Gear Progression Guide
This video walks through the gear upgrade path phase by phase, showing exactly which crafts to prioritize and when to swap device lines. It pairs well with the roadmap below for players moving from the beginner guide into the mid game and beyond toward the Eternity phase.
Full Progression Roadmap
This table is the master roadmap for the entire game of Sol's RNG. Each row lists the roll-count bracket, the gear you should be working toward, the storage target, and the key milestone that defines the phase you are currently progressing through right now.
Use it to check whether you are ahead or behind on your account. Players who reach Limbo early often skip ahead on Dave quests, accelerating later phases and unlocking high-tier gear recipes well before the average player following the rarity tiers.
| Phase | Rolls | Target Gear | Storage |

Tutorial and Early Game (0-150k)
The tutorial and early phases establish your foundational gear and storage. Start with the Luck Glove and Frozen Gauntlet from the beginner guide, then push toward the Exo or Windstorm line and the Subzero Device plus Jackpot Gauntlet as your first real power spike.
During the early phase (25k to 150k rolls), craft the Item Collector to automate pickup handling and expand storage to around 50 slots. This is also the right time to start preparing for Limbo by banking biome materials you will need for Stella's quest line and Dave's early quests.
Tutorial: Luck Glove to Frozen Gauntlet
Craft the Luck Glove at Jake's Workshop, then work toward the Frozen Gauntlet while expanding aura storage to about 30 slots. Aim for your first 1/99,999+ aura and the matching achievement.
Early: Exo or Windstorm line
Between 25k and 150k rolls, pursue the Exo or Windstorm gear line, leading into the Subzero Device and Jackpot Gauntlet. These define your early power spike.
Craft the Item Collector
The Item Collector automates pickup handling so auto-roll runs cleanly. Craft it as soon as the recipe unlocks to reduce manual inventory management.
Expand storage to ~50
Grow aura storage to about 50 slots during the early phase. The larger buffer protects rare rolls while you save materials for the mid-game device line.
Mid Game Priorities (150k-1m)
The mid game is the longest phase and the most craft-heavy. Your goal is to assemble the Galactic or Volcanic Device, combine it into the Gravitational Device, and unlock the Bank plus Strange Controller for inventory safety during extended auto-roll sessions.
This is also where you complete Dave's third Limbo quest, buy your first Oblivion Potion, and upgrade biome control from the Biome Randomizer into the Biome Selector so you can target specific biomes on demand instead of waiting for random spawns.
Gravitational Device
Combine the Galactic or Volcanic Device into the Gravitational Device for the strongest mid-game luck boost, forming the backbone of your 150k to 1m roll phase.
Bank + Strange Controller
Craft the Bank to safely store auras and the Strange Controller to improve automation. Together they remove the inventory anxiety of long auto-roll sessions.
Biome Selector
Upgrade the Biome Randomizer into the Biome Selector so you can target specific biomes on demand instead of waiting for random spawns.
First Oblivion Potion
Buy your first Oblivion Potion during the mid game. It is a major luck consumable that helps bridge the gap into the late phase.
Late and End Game (1m-6m)
The late phase (1m to 2m rolls) focuses on the Exoflex to Hologrammer upgrade, completing Dave's fourth quest, and earning the Grandmaster achievement with storage pushed to around 150 slots to safely hold your growing aura collection during long auto-roll sessions.
The end phase (2m to 6m rolls) pushes into the Starshaper to Neuralyzer line, adds the Darkshader, completes Dave's fifth and final quest, and unlocks the Supreme achievement. Storage should reach about 200 slots to safely hold the flood of high-rarity rolls from the rarest auras.
Eternity Phase Checklist (6m+)
The Eternity phase is the true endgame, reached at over six million lifetime rolls. Your goals here are the Genesis Drive, the Heavenly Device, and access to the Unfathomable Ruins, the final content layer currently available in the game for the most dedicated players.
By this point you should have completed every Dave quest, maxed your storage, and collected the Supreme achievement. Use the checklist below to confirm you are ready for the Heavenly Potion tier of content and the Unfathomable Ruins.
- Craft the Genesis Drive, the defining Eternity-phase gear piece.
- Upgrade into the Heavenly Device for the final luck boost tier.
- Unlock and explore the Unfathomable Ruins, the last content layer.
- Confirm all five Dave quests in Limbo are complete.
- Max out aura storage to handle the heaviest high-rarity roll volume.
- Hold the Supreme achievement before pushing Unfathomable Ruins.
